Summary: Nuswally Lillah is a privacy-first Islamic application. We do not collect, track, store, or sell any personal information. All your prayer bookmarks, Tasbeeh counts, and 99 Names favorites are stored locally on your device.

1. Information We Collect

Nuswally Lillah does not require account registration or personal login credentials. We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email, phone number, or physical address.

2. Device Data & Local Storage

To provide offline functionality, the application stores preferences locally on your device via secure SharedPreferences:

Tasbeeh Counter & Custom Dhikr: Your custom prayer phrases, daily targets, and streak records.
99 Names of Allah: Your memorization progress and favorited Divine Names.
Quran Bookmarks & Reading Position: Your last read Ayah and saved verses.
App Preferences: Selected theme (Dark/Light mode), language settings, and Azan sound toggles.

This data never leaves your device and is not synchronized with any external tracking servers.

3. Device Permissions & Purpose

Nuswally Lillah requests minimal Android system permissions strictly necessary for its features:

Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used to deliver timely Azan and prayer time reminders.
Exact Alarms (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM & RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED): Used to schedule precise prayer time alerts that trigger accurately on time and restore after your device restarts.
Internet Access (INTERNET): Used to fetch the latest video lecture playlists, verify app updates, and play YouTube video recitations.

4. Third-Party Services

The application interacts with trusted third-party service providers solely for content delivery:

YouTube Player API (Google LLC): Used to stream Islamic lectures, bayans, and recitations. Interacting with embedded videos adheres to Google/YouTube's Privacy Policy.
GitHub Gist (Microsoft Corporation): Used to retrieve publicly available, verified media playlists and release version metadata without transmitting user data.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Nuswally Lillah contains clean, sacred Islamic educational content suitable for all audiences, including children. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13.

6. Security of Your Data

Because we do not store your personal data on external cloud databases, there is zero risk of server-side data breaches. Your local settings remain entirely under your control on your physical device.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
